Breather Felt
Breather Felt is made of non-woven quilted felt material with high temperature resistant polyester fiber able to stretch to many contours. Designed for use in autoclaves, it can be used to wrap the perimeter of a multilayer book to assure air evacuation from all exposed edges of the package and prevent the puncturing of the nylon bagging film. Available in four different thicknesses 4, 7, 10, 20 (oz/yds). Operating temperatures up to 400 degrees F (204 degrees C).

Nylon Bagging Film
By sealing a multilayer book in a nylon bag and connecting it to a vacuum pump you get all the advantages of vacuum lamination in an open press. The major benefit of the vacuum process is the reduction of lamination pressure. The vacuum lamination removes residual humidity from pre-preg and increases yields.

Press Pads
SDI Press pads are a high purity, cellulose-based material designed to assist in the fabrication of MLB’s during the lamination processes. Provides a smooth surface and compensates for pressure differential. Eliminates problems associated with silicone rubber pads or commodity papers.

Release Films
Release films provide excellent release capabilities from epoxy, phenolic, polyester and other resin systems. The film can be used as a medium between the book and the platen.

Maximum service temperatures are 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) or 500 degrees F (232 degrees C). Widths available in 48 in. to 72 in.

Sealant Tapes
Sealant Tapes are used for most vacuum assisted laminating processes and autoclave applications and are compatible with most bagging films, providing maximum bag sealing security. Available in 1/2 in. x 1/8 in. x 25 ft. (12.5mm x 3mm x 7.5 meters). 40 rolls per case. For Sealant Tapes requiring a higher temperature than 450 degrees F (232 degrees C) call for quote and lead time.
